Good Friday Services

[2 services]

Friday, April 2
5:00pm or 7:00pm

Please join us as we commemorate the persecution and death of Jesus Christ. Through music, communion, Scripture and a message, we will reflect on the great sacrifice God made for us. Only in remembering the pain and sorrow of the crucifixion can we know the hope and joy that is ours in the Resurrection.

Children’s programs are offered for ages birth through 3rd grade.

RSVP F.A.Q.

Why are we doing an RSVP system this year?
It is our desire that everyone who comes to Easter at Crossroads has the highest quality experience possible. We expect over 6000 people to attend one of the seven Easter Services.  In previous years, large numbers in our services forced people to sit in overflow, families to split up, and even turned people away due to the large numbers.   When you RSVP, it will help us manage parking, seating, childcare and general flow of our services and help distribute people between all services.

Is an RSVP required to attend Easter Service?
No.  Each service will be “first come first served” whether you have an RSVP or not.  RSVP does not reserve your seat, so please come early.

How many RSVP’s are available for each service?
Only 500 RSVP’s will be available for each service.  When all 500 are reserved, we encourage you to choose another service.

Will there be childcare available during the Easter Services?
Yes.  Childcare will be provided from Birth-5th grade.

We have already RSVP’d for a service, but we want to go to a different service?
No Problem. Simply click on “Change Your RSVP” in your confirmation email, call the church office at 970.203.9201 or send an email to RSVP@crossroadscolorado.com with your email address and the service you would like to attend.

Can I RSVP or attend multiple services?
Yes.  Many people invite friends and family with different schedules and want to attend more than one service.  Your RSVP with the number of guests will help us manage our numbers.

Do I need to RSVP to the Good Friday Services?
No.

Jesus Ellipsis

Author: Katie Martinez
Date: February 26th, 2010

An ellipsis is the “dot dot dot” used in writing to indicate, “and there’s more.”

Jesus Ellipsis reminds us that when it comes to Jesus, there is always more: more to know, more to experience and more to love.

In fact, the Gospel of John ends with John’s admission: This is my testimony; it is true. And Jesus did many other things as well. There’s more… In fact, all the books in the world do not contain enough pages to adequately describe the significance of Jesus Christ.

So we’re devoting the next 4 weekends, plus our Good Friday services, to a study on the life and work of Jesus Christ.

Jesus Ellipsis: there’s always more.
