Every weekend, during all services, one-to-one volunteers serve children and students with special needs. Respite Nights and Youth Group

We understand the added stress on a family who has a special needs child. It is our desire to decrease that stress by offering a time where parents can bring their children for an evening to receive a well-deserved break.

Mark your calendar for upcoming 2010 Respite Nights:  August 28, September 25, October 16, November 13, December 4.

We also have a Special Friends Youth Group for middle school, high school & young adults. It is on Saturdays, from 6:15 to 8:15 pm in the Youth Building’s Club 45 Room. The upcoming dates are: September 11, October 9, November 6, December 4.

We consider it a privilege and a call from God to reach out to those who have special needs, because this ministry is from the heart of God. We are committed to serving and empowering our Special Friends to become vital members of the body of Christ.  Our Special Friends ministry partners volunteers side-by-side with your special needs child. As a team, they go in the child’s appropriate classroom, so that he/she can fully participate in the program.

Phenomenal Women Bible Studies

Phenomenal Women is a weekly Bible study and support group for moms, grandmothers and caregivers who care for people with special needs. Phenomenal Women is offered during the school year. Learn more.
