Crossroads supports single moms. And our Next Gen ministry hosts a special group to that end. If you’re a single mom, navigating parenthood from this unique perspective, we have a group for you.

Single Mom Families Group

The single mom’s group meets during the summer on the 2nd Sundays of the month from 12.30-2.30pm in YB3 (east building) at Crossroads. We provide lunch and childcare free of charge and a special “mystery activity” for kids and teens grades 5-12. That’s right– a fun and engaging leader from our Next Gen department will treat your older kids to a good time.

What to Expect

• Encouragement – Being a parent is challenging, rewarding, energizing and draining. Here, you be with others who navigate parenthood from your unique perspective. Some people come for the friends, some for the learning, some for their kids. In any case, you’ll be encouraged.
• Equipping – We always offer learning for everyday life: finances, child rearing, career building, life balance and navigating change. These are typical topics for the learning portion of our group time.
• Empowerment – We know you gotta get ‘er done, and you need God’s help. That why every group session finds a bit of focus in our spiritual lives. We’ll offer steps for growing closer to God and leading your children, teens and young adults onward and upward in their spiritual journey.
