Christmas is the celebration of Jesus’ birth: peaceful, joyful, gentle and heart warming. Right? Not even close. When Jesus came into this world he stirred things up and made a mess. Jesus challenged assumptions about religion, relationships, right and wrong. Jesus created controversy everywhere he went.

Thankfully, the mess that Jesus makes is no ordinary mess. In the middle of every beautiful struggle, God is doing something unexpected.
