Care Connect is a new Crossroads ministry team. We’re recruiting and training caring volunteers to serve as consultants for anyone who asks for help at Crossroads. Learn how to listen, pray, and connect hurting people with Crossroads care ministries, classes, and agency resources.
Care Connect Training
The first training was June 9, and we are ready to schedule another. Training includes an introduction to:
- Crossroads care and support ministries
- Crossroads classes and groups
- Pastoral and professional referrals
- Community agencies and resources
- Caring skills such as listening, responding, confidentiality and prayer
- Becoming a Care Connect volunteer at weekend services or during the week
Who should register?
Training is required for Care Connect volunteers and is helpful to anyone who leads or serves at Crossroads…
- Volunteer ministry leaders, teachers and group leaders
- Stephen ministers
- Crossroads staff
- Guest services volunteers
- Children’s ministry volunteers
