“The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light; those who lived in a land of deep darkness—on them light has shined” (Isaiah 9:2). This ancient promise continues to speak powerfully into our calling as a church. Last year, we stepped into a bold and hope-filled season together, affirming that peace is worth it—worth our courage, our sacrifice, and our shared commitment to being a light in a world overshadowed by fear, exclusion, and the rise of Christian Nationalism. And you responded with remarkable generosity. Because of your faithfulness, we reached our goal and raised $212,000, ensuring that our light did not dim during a complex and challenging year.

As we enter the second year of our two-year campaign, our calling remains clear: we are a people of light, and light must not only shine in metaphor—it must shine in place. We believe God is inviting us to be a physical light at the center of our city and in the heart of our region: a visible presence of hope, inclusion, justice, and radical welcome. And as we prepare to move to a new campus, we face short-term financial pressures that require courageous generosity from all of us.

The darkness around us has not lessened. Ideologies rooted in fear and exclusion continue to grow. Many in our community—and far beyond—are desperate for a spiritual home where love triumphs over hate, where belonging silences shame, and where peace is more than a slogan. Crossroads stands as that alternative. We are a unique light in Northern Colorado: a community where all people, especially the marginalized, are seen, valued, and welcomed.

This year, our goal is to raise $150,000 over the next six months to ensure that this light stays strong as we relocate and continue our mission with clarity and courage. These gifts will help us navigate short-term moving expenses, sustain essential ministries, and plant ourselves firmly and brightly in the place we are called to serve.

Just as we did last year, we are asking every household to prayerfully consider a significant financial commitment to Peace Is Worth It for this second year. Together, we can continue to resist the tide of Christian Nationalism and build a community that shines with the expansive love of Christ.

Thank you for your faith, your courage, and your commitment. Thank you for helping Crossroads continue to be a light—both symbolic and literal—for our region. With your partnership, we will move into this next chapter with confidence, rooted in the peace of Christ and committed to sharing that peace with the world.

Every Gift Matters

The second year of our 2025-26 Peace is Worth It goal is $150,000 in the next six months. Last year our church generously donated $212,000, recognizing and believing that our mission and vision of a progressive, inclusive and healthy spirituality is Worth It. We know that when working toward a big goal, every gift matters.

Experience Hope

Every week, leaders of Crossroads sit with individuals and bear witness to their stories of heartbreak, healing and hope. The stories of lives transformed through the ministries of Crossroads Church are a powerful testament to the need for modern, progressive expressions of the Christian faith.

For years we did not want to give up on our faith but there seemed to be nowhere for us to find community or a safe place we could be ourselves. Crossroads Church has given us hope that we can love each other without being at odds with our faith and that we can have community and a sense of belonging. Crossroads is a place where we can continue to grow in faith and community to make the world a better place and we are so grateful.

Our family has been part of Crossroads Church for over 25 years, largely because it is an inclusive church that embraces everyone. It is an authentic, loving community where we have developed life-long and diverse friendships. Significantly, it’s become a safe place that celebrates our daughter’s relationship and upcoming marriage to her girlfriend–something I could not have imagined we would ever find within Christianity. I believe Crossroads is a hidden gem, and I look forward to more people discovering the unique and loving faith that we have found here.

Crossroads is the first [church] I’ve attended where I truly felt that anyone who wanted a relationship with God would feel welcome. For me, seeing people who are embraced regardless of their ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation or any other feature that often causes them to be rejected by the church was a key reason I kept coming. That level of acceptance, that degree of inclusion was something that reminded me of the way Jesus treated people when he walked the earth. Being part of a church that truly acts like Jesus is exciting and I look forward to the work we’ll accomplish in his name.
