Frequently Asked Questions
Are same-sex marriages performed by Crossroads officiants?
Yes! At Crossroads, we believe all love should be celebrated and our pastors/officiants are happy to perform same-sex marriages at our venue.
May we choose our own vendors?
Yes! We do not require the use of specific vendors so you have the freedom to make your day as unique as you are.
May I book vendors through the venue?
While we do not provide vendor services specifically through our venue, we can offer some suggestions of local individuals or companies that we have worked with in the past and/or come highly recommended. Please ask to see our Wedding Binder which includes our vendor list when you tour our facility to kick start your search for the perfect wedding team.
Do I need to hire a wedding planner?
This is not required but highly recommended to reduce stress on your big day. Our Venue Coordinator will work closely with your wedding planner or day of coordinator to help things run smoothly. With or without a wedding planner, we are here to make your day magical.
Is there any decor or other items included in the rental cost?
Yes! In addition to the use of our round tables, rectangular tables, cocktail tables, and chairs, you also have the option to use our venue-provided decor. Please see our Wedding Binder at the time of your tour for available options.
May we bring our own decor/special touches?
Yes! We highly encourage you to make the space your own with table decorations, floral arrangements, personal mementos, photo backdrops, altar decorations, etc. Let your DIY/Pinterest dreams come true!
What happens if we book the Back Patio and it rains or snows?
We are here to make this day unforgettable, even if the weather isn’t ideal. With our wedding packages, we include an alternate weather location back up plan that you will have discussed with the Venue Coordinator in advance to suit your needs. The decision to move to the alternate location would need to be made 24 hours prior to the event for the set-up to be adjusted.
How late can the event go?
Out of respect for our neighbors, we ask that events conclude by 11pm (including clean-up and tear down). It is recommended that the event itself conclude by 10pm in order to allow time for clean-up.
Do I have to be a member of the church to reserve the venue?
Nope! Anyone is welcome to reserve Crossroads Venue for their big day.
How do we reserve our date?
Submit an inquiry form to check availability. Your date is reserved with a $500 non-refundable deposit payable by cash, check, or credit card (with 3% processing fee).
How are payments structured?
An initial $500 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your date. 50% of the total package cost is due upon signing the contract. The remaining 50% is paid over 2 additional payments of 25% due 6 months prior to the event and 3 months prior to the event. A $1000 refundable security deposit for damages is due 1 month prior to the event and will be refunded after the event if no damage or restricted items were found.
What methods of payment are accepted?
Payments can be made with cash, check, or credit card (with 3% processing fee).
May we add additional hours to our wedding package?
Yes! If you would like more time to extend the celebration, additional hours can be added to your package on a per hour basis at a rate of $250/hr.
Does the rental pricing change based on the time of day?
Nope, our prices are the same regardless of the time of day. We only host one event per day so there will never be overlapping events. There is, however, a 20% discount for Monday-Thursday weddings.
Is alcohol allowed?
Yes! You can bring your own beer, wine, and liquor for your event. We do require you to hire a licensed and insured bartender to monitor and serve alcohol at the event. Feel free to look at our vendor list for suggestions or find your own.
May we bring our own alcohol?
Yes! You are free to bring your own alcohol and are not restricted to a specific beer/wine list, so you can pick what meets your needs. If you do offer alcohol, we require you to have a licensed and insured bartender to serve the drinks even if it is an open bar format. See our vendor list for several options of licensed bartenders that serve this area.
Is this an LGBTQ+ safe space?
Yes! Crossroads Church is a safe, inclusive, and affirming space where all are welcome to fully participate, even if you do not attend Crossroads Church.
